DEVpro is an outsourcing company that supplies remote software developers, engineers, social media support staff, executive assistants, lead generation personnel and administrative staff. Unlike freelancing sites, we cater to a comprehensive yet very specific list of talents and skills and work to a clients requirements. Additionally, we provide offshore developers and talents who work exclusively for you from our offices located in the Philippines. All of these personnel can be provided on an ad-hoc, project or dedicated basis.

We will help you understand the full process of having global talent working for your company remotely. Working with you we will present how we shortlist candidates specific to your company and skill set requirement. We will demonstrate the interview and testing process along with the onboarding and operational considerations such as working hours and management oversight. We will also be transparent with costs and obligations to your company.

Through working with you we will ensure that the staff member working for you will be onboarded effectively with a full understanding of their roles and responsibilities, the ethos of your company, all requirements regarding compliance with your company processes. We also work with all of our client teams to ensure that they are fully aware of how the process works and what the dedicated staff member will be doing.

Outsourcing will allow you to reach globally available talent to work on your requirements whether on a project basis or dedicated. In addition to the obvious economic benefits this also allows your company to expand internationally without additional company formation compliance costs and expensive office mobilization costs as you hire international talent. You can become an international company overnight and scale your operation up and down without expensive compliance requirements and outlay on infrastructure. We will ensure that all of the relevant HR, admin, operations and financial management and managed from our international offices while you get value for money and an asset to your organization working to your terms, budget and timescales.

All staff dedicated to your company will be managed by local and expatriate management teams. You will have contact with both the Philippines management team and the UK. You will be assigned an account manager and an aftersales care manager.

We work on a project basis as well as dedicated staff member provision. You may require a website build or a social media specialist for a product/ service launch. We take the security of our clients data and IP extremely seriously. We have strict protocols for the access of clients data, physical measures to ensure no unauthorized entry into our facilities or removal of client data on hard drives, phones as well as administrative safeguards for regulating operations and employees conduct. We engage a local security organization for the protection of our employees and client information in addition to an international cyber security company. We will work with your IT department to put into place any measures they require in line with your corporate compliance.

DEVpro is an ethical company and takes its staff’s welfare seriously and will pay in accordance to the local labour laws. As a local employer since 2013 DEVpro is compliant with local labour laws and attracts and retains high caliber personnel through generous remuneration, career progression, company and external training. We operate to international standards with local execution.

We are able to make all introductions virtually or if you are willing to travel, in person. We encourage our clients to visit our office so you can personally get to know your dedicated staff and clients who retain teams with us normally visit our offices once per year and some team members have travelled to client offices overseas. We see our offices as extensions of our clients and welcome clients to visit and meet their team members.

We currently have offices in Manila and London, but we have plans to expand to some of the world’s major cities.

You will have a dedicated account manager and aftersales care manager. We will discuss the appropriate times to review performance regarding your dedicated staff member relative to your project or company requirements. Full assessments will be made of the performance of the staff member in liaison with the client point of contact. You will also be able to speak to a senior management team member in the UK or the Philippines at any time.

In the case where you are looking for a specific skill set we will arrange a telephone conversation with the person responsible for the hire, discuss the requirements and then shortlist qualified and experienced candidates for your interview. We will target and headhunt candidates with the necessary skill set if required.

One of the key components of our model is our After Care services wherein our team of Project Managers handle tasks such as local licensing, permits, payrolls, and other HR concerns.

Yes. DEVpro expert provides dedicated employees who will work solely for your company.

This is project/ client specific. In the case of an IT developer a startup client may require an app created and therefore engage one hire. Other clients require full teams to manage their IT operations/ software development function. As our clients businesses grow so does their team. DEVpro provides flexible arrangements that allow you to scale up and down when you need to. Our model allows for a more convenient, efficient, and cost-effective way to expand your team.

We provide a wide range of services from tech skills such as computer programming and software development, to administrative services like bookkeeping, data entry, customer support, social media management, executive assistants and lead generation.

The Philippines is one of the most English-proficient countries in Asia due to the huge influence of Western culture in the early times. Our employees are university degree holders who have extensive experience in communicating in English.

We guarantee that our repertoire of developers, engineers, and admin staff are highly skilled and are well-experienced in their respective fields. All of our staff will have to appropriate educational background alongside corporate experience. The talent pool is shortlisted and assessed dependent on the client requirements. Once we are happy with the candidates we put them through to the client representative for interview and often technical assessment client side specific to the work/ project.

That won’t be a problem as our employees can speak English well without incomprehensible accents. All candidates English is assessed via to being shortlisted. This includes both verbal and written English tests.

Yes this is something that we have done before. Some companies do not treat their staff ethically, don’t manage them well or don’t uphold their contractual agreements with their clients. DEVpro has (subject to the contract with the client and the existing provider being finalized) absorbed all of the developers on your behalf and supported them to ensure business continuity and a more professional service.

 

Hiring Process

The contract will be between your company and DEVpro and the dedicated talent will be hired by the local entity in the Philippines. This relieves the client of any contractual obligations with all liability carried by DEVpro. This allows fluidity with the engagement of the person/ team hired. The assigned staff will be working solely for the client and will act as an extension of your team with the supervision and guidance of our project managers.

Yes, live test runs done via TeamViewer or VNC Viewer can be conducted as part of the screening process.

Technical trials are absolutely free and can be done as part of the screening process.

While we usually provide dedicated services, we can certainly craft offers for part-time and project based services depending on the skill required and the project term/ requirement.

Depending on the required skills and expertise, our process can be done in as early as two to three days. However, for requirements that are a bit more complex, the process might take about one to two weeks.

Yes, you can! You can create an extension of your team care of DEVpro.

We will proceed to the contract signing and will be requiring advance payment to cover the employee’s salaries and benefits upon onboarding.

Provided that the candidate is already available, they can start as soon as all necessary paper works are accomplished. However, in some cases, your new employee might need to serve a mandatory notice period with their current company. All information about the staff’s status and availability will be laid out to you during the screening and selection process.

 

Infrastructure

Yes, we do. We can accommodate businesses who wish to scale up their business and go from just one employee to hiring an entire team.

It depends on your required skill set and availability of staff members, but we can accommodate requests to scale up at the soonest time possible. It would be best to speak with your Account Manager to know more about this. If you are not currently a client we can discuss you requirement and give you lead times depending on the skill set that you require.

We make sure to provide our employees with up-to-date hardware and software to ensure efficiency and convenience.

We provide them with updated, high-speed PCs and laptops, dual-screen provisions, TFT monitors, webcams, and headphones. Scanners, and printers are also available for their use in the office. For the software, we provide office software, license-free Windows OS, and Mac OS (with an additional fee for licensing software).

Additional hardware and software not included in the standard equipment provided will be subjected to additional charges to be billed to the client. This can be discussed prior to the mobilization of your staff member. If you are already a client do inform your Account Manager about your requirements so we can check the availability and work with you to enable this to happen.

Pricing and Billing

For dedicated developers working for our client’s full time payments are made at the beginning of each month to ensure that your developer’s salary and benefits for the month will be covered accordingly. For short term projects or tasks the payment terms are 50% down payment on acceptance of services and 50% when the task is complete.

Payments can be made via bank transfer. Alternatively, we also accept payments via PayPal, subject to additional payment gateway charges. We accept multiple currencies including GBP, USD, Euros.

This is purely dependent upon the required skill set , sector experience and expertise of the candidate. Prices usually range from £7 to £20 per hour (exclusive of VAT). Prices are inclusive of recruitment assistance, on-site account management, developer salaries, benefits, and other needed facilities. We will do our best to work to a clients budget. DEVpro will be significantly more cost effective than a local higher in a major developed country city.

DEVpro will work to a clients budget as much as possible. Regardless of whether you require a dedicated staff member or have a project in mind contact us with your budget and requirements and we will work with you to find a solution.

Working with a DEVpro Talent

You may use various communication and project management tools available for free download. Some of the tools we use are Trello, Skype, TeamViewer, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and BaseCamp, but your employee can work with whichever your company currently utilizes.

While we handle admin and HR services such as attendance, payroll, and taxes the daily work output and progress must be monitored and supervised directly by the client. You will be assigned an account manager who will be in regular contact with the relevant client side representative to ensure that your staff member is performing to your satisfaction and requirements. We also conduct our own regular monitoring and assessment of their performance and attitude with reviews and appraisals.

We will work with you to find a replacement until we find one that suits you best and ensure a seamless hand over take over.

Yes, you can. Feel free to get in touch with your Account Manager to discuss this in detail so we can prepare and make arrangements.

We can accommodate various team sizes ranging from individuals and pairs to teams of three, four, or even up to 30 developers. In the cases where large teams are deployed or if a client requires their staff wok in a separate office we will take on additional office space or use on of our surge locations.

You will be provided with the employee’s portfolio as a reference during the hiring and selection process.

Your dedicated employee will be working simultaneously with your local team. We operate 24/7 and your staff in the Philippines will work to your operating hours.

Termination of Services

We require a thirty-day notice period for termination of employees that have rendered a minimum of three (3) months with your company. Replacements are available should there be a need to hire another employee or if you are dissatisfied with the current one.

Data Privacy and Security

Data protection is something that we highly uphold. All matters regarding data protection are detailed in the contract and we are also governed by data privacy laws in our host countries. We also make sure to monitor your employee’s activities regularly to ensure that they are upholding data protection practices at all times.

  • Data stored in your servers cannot be accessed by the employee without your permission. Meanwhile, data stored in DEVpro’s servers can only be viewed and used by authorized personnel, and will not be accessible outside the office.
  • Option to disable certain applications, software, and websites, as well as hardware such as USB ports, printers, CD-ROMs, external drives, and personal e-mail. Monitoring software such as SpectorSoft can be installed so you can check your employee’s work logs.

We also provide an option wherein your employee’s computer and keyboard will be connected to your system to ensure that important data gets stored directly into your servers and stay within your organization.
